Update – Repairs have been made. Please use caution as Cherry St is to reopen by 7pm Please be advised there is a water main break on Cherry St and running down State St. City crews are working to repair. Cherry Street is closed from Broad St to State Street. All secondary roads will need to use alternative routes instead of Cherry St.

Water Leak - UPDATE Roads Reopened

UPDATE: Roads have been re-opened, water leaks have been repaired. Thank you. East College Street to Scott Street to Church Street will be closed for repairs on a water leak. Road Closure Sewer Repair

The intersection of Belmont Rd and Williford St to Harber St is closed to thru traffic today for sewer repair. Please use alternate routes in the city.



Leak Survey

The City of Commerce Gas Department will be performing leak surveys within the city limits on gas meters for the next 2 – 3 weeks.



Winter Weather UPDATE

Forecasts are showing 4+ inces with up to 35 mph winds at times. Temps are supposed to stay low. Melting snow will turn to ice overnight. GDOT advised they will only be treating I85 and WILL NOT be treating state highways due to limited supplies following last weekends ice storm. Stay warm and stay safe.
