If you are a current City of Commerce Utilities customer and need to add utility services to your account, please contact us at (706) 335-3164 ext. 3005 or utilities@commercega.gov.

All requests must be completed by 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday in order for services to be possibly connected on the same day. Otherwise, service will not be turned on until the next business day. No service will be connected on holidays or weekends.

Water & Sewer Capacity Procedures

In accordance with the City’s Sewer and Water Capacity Plan & Allocation Procedures that were adopted by City Council on October 17, 2022, water and sewer capacity must be formally requested for all new development projects.

Please note that allocations will be made based on estimated flow, available system capacity, and approval is not guaranteed as infrastructure limitations must also be evaluated. Requests are typically filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
