Early Voting Dates & Hours in Commerce:

Monday–Friday, May 11th–May 15th, 2026
9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

All early voting in Commerce ends on May 15th at 5:00 p.m.

Additional early voting begins at the County Elections Office on April 27th, 2026.

Election Day – May 19th, 2026
Residents who previously voted at Mt. Olive Church will now vote at the Commerce Administrative Complex on Election Day.

Elected Officials

The Commerce City Council is made up of a Mayor, Mayor Pro-Tem, and five Councilmen each representing a separate ward. The Mayor and City Council exercise the corporate governmental powers of the City in the manner provided by charter. The Mayor is the Chief Executive Officer of the City government who enforces the laws of the City and requires the faithful performance of all administrative duties. The City Council exercises the legislative functions of the City and may pass any ordinance or resolution that it deems best for the government of the City.
