Commerce Water Shed Lake, entrance located on Grove Level Road will be temporarily closed for annual maintenance beginning July 30, 2025 and remain closed until the project is completed by expected date of September 26, 2025. City staff will be cleaning the area around the lake, clearing debris, and working on the entrances to the lake. Gates will be locked until further notice, no entry for fishing by boat or from the banks of the lake. The city request residents to stay out of the lake area due to small construction on the entry driveways and on the lake property. The city will announce the reopening later this fall.
