Commerce, GA – The City of Commerce has launched a new website-based Digital Budget
Book powered by ClearGov, replacing what officials described as “cumbersome PDFs” with
an interactive, mobile-friendly, and ADA-optimized platform. The new online format
presents the City’s financial data through clear visuals and aligns with Government Finance
Officers Association (GFOA) best practices.

The Digital Budget Book also includes a property-tax lookup tool that allows residents to
enter their own tax amount and see exactly how their dollars are distributed across City
services and programs.

Finance Director Christy Case said the platform makes the City’s budget “more
transparent, easier to understand, and more engaging for our community.”
ClearGov CEO Chris Bullock praised Commerce for its leadership in advancing
transparency and accountability in local government.

City officials encourage residents to explore the Digital Budget Book to better understand
how public funds are generated, allocated, and invested in community services. This can
