Bobby Redmon Councilman
Councilman Bobby Redmon has enjoyed serving Ward 4 as Councilman since 2016. A native of Maysville, Mr. Redmon graduated from Banks County High School in 1978. He has enjoyed a lifelong career in residential and commercial construction and is currently employed by Shell McElroy Construction working primarily in the Atlanta area.
A resident of Commerce for more than 30 years, Bobby retired from the Commerce Fire Department in 2015 after 27 total years of service, 22 of those being in Commerce. He retired from the position of Captain. Mr. Redmon is also an active member of the Commerce Booster Club and the Football Film Crew (Potluck Football). Bobby works with the Eric Redmon Foundation, a service foundation founded with family and friends following his son's car accident to give back to this community. He also manages annual fundraisers benefitting local Boys and Girls Clubs, local families dealing with traumatic brain injuries, and the Ronald McDonald House of Atlanta, among others.
Bobby is married to Angie Martin Redmon of Homer. They have two children, Erin (Kyle Moore) and Eric, both of whom graduated from Commerce High School. They also have three grandchildren: Cooper, Harper, and Chapman Moore. Mr. Redmon and his family are members of Maysville Baptist Church.
