Gas

The Gas Department installs, maintains, and inspects gas mains, services, meters and regulators for the natural gas distribution system. They plan, design and execute system improvements in coordination with new development, DOT projects, and system deficiencies. They also maintain an extensive record keeping system and employee training regiment in compliance with Federal Codes CFR 49, parts 191 and 192. All this is done with the safety of our customers in mind. Please remember, if you smell the odor of gas, remove yourself and your loved ones from the building and then call from a cell phone or neighbor's house. It is always better to play it safe when it comes to what is most important, you and your family.
